Transducers
 
RVT's - RVDT
Based on the technical principles associated with AC transformers. position transducers such as RVT (Rotary Variable Transformer) use a fixed excitation voltage producing a corresponding output voltage. The output voltage amplitude is directly variable according to the angular position of a rotable core member.  In addition to the basic RVT, PAI offers several variations, including the Rotary Variable Differential Transformers (RVDTs).

Our partners have developed an array of standard motor and gear head modules, incorporating the best materials available for both high performance and environmental resistance. They extended the process to the manufacture of unique actuator requirements for flight controls, precision electro-optical positioning, radar antenna drives and other high reliability applications.

Rotary actuators can incorporate a variety of auxiliary components such as brakes, clutches, anti-backlash gears, and special seals. Redundant schemes involving velocity or torque summing of two or more motors can also be employed.
 
  Remote Manipulation Units, adapted to specific tasks, such as Master/Slave Remote Manipulator, CONDOR Heavy-Duty Remote Manipulator, in various versions (semi-heavy work), which can be equipped with video systems, a camera and an X-ray sensor, and Universal Arm for heavy work.
  Products for installation on end fittings for Remote Manipulation, such as grip-claws made of aluminum and titanium (fixed or removable), and electrical control handles; and on various interfaces for Remote Manipulators, such as sealed rotating unions made of aluminum and titanium (fixed or removable), cassette-type knuckle joints (fixed or removable).
